Mama Says

Bring the whole family to join us for some summer fun. The adults can socialize while the children play.

The fourth Friday of the month from 4 - 8 pm at the New Shelter in Hubbard Park.

Bring a picnic dinner, outdoor spirit, and a love for summer fun!

As we enter our 6th year as an organized community of activist mamas, we are seeking a new and inspiring logo for our t-shirts!

Mama Says is looking for mama volunteers in the following areas. Whether it is for an hour during naptime or more, contact the following people for more information:

Events: Volunteers needed to help organize and promote these Mama Says-sponsored events:

• The Summer Social Series in Hubbard Park will start up in June. Help organize these fun, family gatherings. Contact Debbie at debgoodwin@lycos.com
• Full Moon Tea Party in the fall. We are making this classic event promoting women-owned businesses and services better than ever! Contact Flower at flowervt@myfairpoint.net

Advocacy: Volunteers needed to help organize and promote these Mama Says-sponsored campaigns:

• Kids Are Priority One campaigns support quality, affordable child care; accessible children's health care and oral health care; and work/life balance policies like paid sick days. Contact Kelly at advocacy@mamasaysvermont.org
• Toxics Action Alliance campaigns support chemical reform, like eliminating toxins in children's products; and green cleaning in schools. Contact Susan at susan@mamasaysvermont.org
