One dish Two dish Red dish Blue dish Black dish Blue dish Old dish New dish In the sink Near and far Say what a lot of dishes there are! Some I’ve cleaned twice already Some have ancient hard spaghetti When I look into the sink, What a lot of thinks I think Would you could you Do a chore? Would you could you Since you are so bored? What? What’s that you say? Maybe on a rainy day? Kids are only supposed to Play? Listen to me And listen now: I will tell you what And I will tell you how You may not pull your sister’s hair You may not hit her anywhere You may not leave your toys about You may not scream, you may not shout You may not run inside the house! And you may not keep that little mouse! Why do I tell you what to do? Because my dear, You are two. You will not talk to me that way I will take your priveledges away And how many times must I say The Play Doh can’t sit out all day! Fine then, we are going out! Get your shoes, and stop that pout! Comb your hair! Brush your teeth! Quick like a bunny And make it neat! Left foot Left foot Right foot Right Get your jacket Zip up tight Are you listening to me? Ok now, who has to pee? From here to there From there to here Yes, you must wear Your underwear. CommentsAshley 10/19/2011 14:06
This is wonderful! I feel it really captures a moment, in any mothers life! As I was reading this I was actually picturing myself saying and doing all of these things!
