Mama Says is happy to announce it will be hosting our annual fundraiser with renowned photographer Jay Ericson! Jay will again generously donate his considerable time and talent to create beautiful, distinctive portraits that families have come to anticipate. From major magazines like Newsweek and USA Today to local museums like the Shelburne and Fairbanks, Jay's work is not to be missed. Families make their holiday cards and gifts from this fundraiser, and portraits that they will keep forever.
Because Mama Says survives only through many volunteer hours, this fundraiser is a huge boost to our budget every year, making it possible to keep the zine in print and our efforts on behalf of central Vermont families going. This year Jay will be taking outdoor photos with Vermont's Hubbard Park as a backdrop. Jay is great at capturing families in both traditional poses and candid shots.
Sign up for a half-hour session (see above). Photos will be available for sale (including digital file download) a few weeks after the shoot, with net profits going to Mama Says.
